Muhammadan reflections
The Peaceful Living · Edition 52 · September 2026
“Success is not measured by whether you reach the destination. If you are walking the right path, making the right effort, then you are already successful; whether or not you reach the end.”
“Think a hundred times before you intend to harm someone, because it is like pressing a button that sets the system of Divine retribution into motion.”
“Instead of expecting from people, expect from the Divine, because Allah always returns goodness with goodness and with multiplication.”
“Winning people's hearts does not require extensive speeches or wealth; small, sincere gestures of honour leave lifelong attachments”
Wisdom to carry into the journey
Become praiseworthy
The newsletter invites us to seek Allah’s pleasure rather than people’s praise. Love for the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ should shape our speech, conduct and responses, while private acts of kindness nurture sincerity.
“Reputation is what people think you are, while character is what Allah knows you are.”

Four things to keep in mind
A framework for reflection: Qadar — Allah’s destiny and planning; Barakah — finding benefit through truth, justice and doing good; testing — how we respond to blessings and trials; and Muradullah — considering what Allah wants from us in the present moment.
“What does Allah exactly want from that person at that moment of time?”
